You will have beautiful scenery if you were to have your wedding in a garden or at the beach. Outdoor weddings are so stunning because you will be incorporating natural beauty into the design of your wedding.


Outdoor weddings do have advantages and disadvantages. Here are some of the advantages:


If you enjoy the sea then a beach wedding will be perfect.

If you enjoy spending time in the garden with all the flowers and trees then a garden wedding will suit your taste and your idea of what you want for your wedding.

An outdoor wedding is a great way to have a wedding because not only is it cost effective due to the fact that you will not need a lot of wedding decor.

It is also a way to catch the natural beauty of our surroundings and incorporate that into the overall look and design of your wedding.

The wonderful thing about the outdoors is that outdoor event you do not need to add much more to it because it is perfect in its natural form.

There are two main disadvantages of having an outdoor wedding.


Firstly, it's the weather factor. The weather is often unpredictable and can be the cause of some anxiety on your wedding day. The weather is the key to hosting an outdoor wedding. It can make or break your big day and this is why some couples choose to opt for a safer choice which would be an indoor wedding. One way to help ease the stress will be to hire a marquee or a tent for your wedding. This way you will be able to still have your outdoor wedding if it does rain lightly. However, if the rainfall becomes heavy, neither the tent nor the marquee will hold up.


Secondly, the outdoors is the home of many insects and creatures, so you might find many bugs and flying insects inviting themselves to your wedding. Many guests, especially the women might find this annoying or distracting.


Thirdly, the scorching sun could leave your guests sunburnt and uncomfortable.


The good thing about our country is that we have a lovely summer season and there are many opportunities to have a wonderful outdoor wedding. Just make sure that you are prepared no matter what may occur on your wedding day. Your wedding planner will be sure to have a back up plan just in case. You will have a stunning wedding in the outdoors or indoors (if Mother Nature doesn't want to play along). Either way, enjoy this time of your life!
